May 2011 Result
Overwintered 7lb 8oz Blue Trout. Caught 19th May 2011. Size 10 Red Diawlbach. The fish was caught on the point fly of a 15ft fluorocarbon cast using a sight bob. The fish when hooked wanted to get to the otherside of the reservoir such was its first run.

Bill caught this 7lb 8oz Blue Trout on the 19th of May 2011, using size 10 Red Diawlbach.

Chris Dickey with 6lbs Rainbow Trout

This is what Chris told us:
“This beautiful 6lb isn’t the biggest fish ever caught but is a beautifully finned. This was caught in Eskragh Lough, Dungannon. It was stocked at 1lb and has grown on. I caught it on the last part of a drift in towards the bank with my flies about 3 ft from the bank my line locked up and this beauty went deep, doubling my rod in two. After 10mins in was in the net, photographed and released to fight another day. I was using a Airflo Fast Glass Intermediate with a black Diawl bach on the dropper, which the fish took.”
