Boat fishing with Craig Barr
Fishing big expanses of water like the Midlands reservoirs can be a daunting prospect at the best of times.
Craig has over 30 years experience of fishing all Anglian Waters, in particular Rutland Water. Craig’s indepth knowledge of the whole area of water has proven invaluable time and time again when fishing competitively on the lake, Craig has never failed to bring a fish to the boat on a full days fishing in over 13 years.
Whether you are a complete beginner to boat fly fishing, or simply want to learn from an experienced boat angler and brush up on your skills, then a day out with Craig is what you need.
On The Day
Your day’s guiding will start from 9.00am and will finish at 6.00pm. Before we go afloat casting tuition is on available (if required), and a full brief of our day will be given. Craig’s friendly approach to the day, as well as his eagerness to share his knowledge will guarantee a great day out for all.
All tackle can be provided, and when you finish your day, you will be given a FREE FLY BOX with 24 flies.

If you would prefer Craig to come to your local water then travelling expenses will be added to the normal days charge, and a deposit will be requested.
Craig has been capped by the Senior England Squad, managed the England Loch Style team , appeared on Sky’s Tight Lines fishing show 5 times and holds the record Brown trout from Chew Valley lakes, a massive 15lb 12oz!
